Goihman wears MICKEY MOUSE shirt when surrendering

MICKEY is the Mascot of John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School, the high school Kayla attended. How dare she!

Do you think she knew that?

Hey far be it from ME to defend HER but I had no idea ........

Even if she didn't what a faux pas!

Randi D. said...

Well, no doubt Gina. She's not shown any respect for anyone for two months. Why start now.

If Goihman knew or not about Mickey being the mascot. The more far reaching message seems to be "I killed a child in Philadelphia and then went to Disneyworld, the place where children's dreams come true..." UNBELIEVABLE...

BRIAN MC MONAGLE SAID......

"I brought her to Philadelphia within hours of knowing that her arrest was imminent and we wanted to surrender today to authorities to let the system begin its work," said McMonagle.

He also said...........

"It's a very difficult day for her and her family and despite this her thoughts and her prayers are obviously with this child's family."

He also said...........

“I notified police enforcement of the location of the vehicle. The vehicle was never tampered with. It was never touched. It was kept in its condition from the night of the accident,” said McMonagle.

And my favorite:

Brian McMonagle told reporters: “She would never knowingly or intentionally injure a child leaving her behind.”

Is it just me or are his remarks as insulting as her actions for the past 2 months?

MadMom

I heard that too and wondered why NOW they're ready for her tell tell the whole truth and "let the system go to work".

And, yeah I do think he believes what he says. Sad...

Interesting statement from the DA

Prosecutors would not say whether they believe Goihman was driving when Peter was killed,

but District Attorney Lynne M. Abraham noted that charges of leaving the scene of a fatal accident aren't typically filed against passengers.

Hey Susanna, (yes, I do believe you read this blog)remember, THE BIG GUY (aka God) will be listening when you and Brian tell "The whole truth about what happened that night." Make it good because, the day will come when you yourself die, and you will have a final and eternal judgement. Eternity is forever...

How's this for justice.....

Goihman posted bail EARLY THIS MORNING but because of a computer glitch she was not released from her jail cell until after 11 a.m.

Wonder if she slept as well as the rest of us.

Donna Persico said...

Wait until you hear what David Henry (channel 6) has to say about a witness coming forward...Oh Susanna, you sure did need to get away for a few days! Oh Susanna you should not have listened to that lawyer-friend of yours.

Donna Persico said...

No shit Brian "It was a terrible, terrible accident." It wasn't a terrible, terrible accident...it is murder. The weapon...the white Lexus. Tho exicutioner...Susanna Goihman. Did she plan on killing Kayla. I doubt it! She was too intoxicated to make a choice. BUT...at some point Susanna made a choice to run away from the results of her actions, rather than be accountable.

Has anyone heard rumors of Ms. Goihman having an affair with a married man? I wonder if he is the lawyer she called? I wonder if he was the one who, according to channel 6, advised "G" to go away for a few days? I wonder if the poor guys wife knows. That is of course, if the rumors are true????????

I think attorney McMonagle's strategy will be to spin Goihman as the victim as much as humanly possible. The shirt and all the statements seem calculated to produce that effect. I'm especially taking note of the "She would never knowingly or intentionally injure a child leaving her behind" remark. I think he might be preparing a diminished capacity defense based on lack of intent. Alcohol not only diminishes mental capacity, but alcoholism is well known to produce blackouts -- periods of time during which the drinker is conscious, but has no memory of anything he or she does. That would enable an attorney to state (on ample scientific and legal grounds) that his client "did not know" and "could not have known," and could not have intentionally left the scene of an accident.

Not that there's anything new about portraying a person suffering from alcoholism as a victim, but I thought I should share these thoughts on how the system works (or doesn't).

WOW!!!!!!

Pretty damning information from this witness. Thank God she came forward but WHY the HELL did it take so long? She wasn't with her...she wasn't driving....she wasn't involved.

Donna, ya looked pretty good there in your baby blue polo! It goes so nice with your newly coiffed blond hair!

I believe I read in court reports that she was ordered to attend the ARD program after the first DUI, though I can't remember where I read it.

IF it's proven that she was drinking, she can kiss her AZZafran goodbye; regardless of any programs available to DUI offenders.

As for me...I it is 6:17 and I am on my way to Queen & Henry! Anyone like to join me?

I think I'm up for a stroll around the block.

The report should be on channel 6's website wpvi.com

I just checked the wpvi website expecting to see Dadiv Henry's report at 6:00 but it's not there.

The long and short of it is that there is a witness that has come forward that told the authorities that she and Goihman were out together that night for a couple of martinis. They then parted ways as Goihman had dinner plans. Later that night her car hit and killed Kayla. The next morning, after hearing the reports, Goihman called "a lawyer friend" who advised her to keep her mouth shut and consider getting out of town for a few days. Supposedly, this new witness is what prompted the arrest warrant.

I'm sure at some point, either tonight or tomorrow, David Henry's report should be on their webpage.

Did anyone catch CBS news tonight?

Did you see Susanna smack her head on the top of the car when she was getting in it?

Way to slap her upside the head, Kayla!

Brian McMonagle:

YOU ARE A FLAMING ASSHOLE!!!!!!!!!!

YOU MUST SLEEP IN THE SAME KIND OF BED THAT GOIHMAN DOES - ONE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO LIE THROUGH YOUR DAMN TEETH AND LIVE WITH YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*****Asked about the report of his client drinking, McMonagle said yesterday: "Intoxication had nothing to do with the cause of the accident. This is a terrible stretch of road. It was very dark.

"We've had experts out there already, looking at this area... . It's an area that's an accident waiting to happen. This was a terrible accident, but she wasn't criminally negligent."******

INTOXICATION HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS MY ASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

EXPERTS MY ASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

Better order your experts that same bed.

Sorry bloggers, this man DISGUSTS ME.

Randi D. said...

Courtney,

Don't get too confident.

Her attorney, as disgusting as he is, is going to try any angle he can to shift the blame from Goihman to ANYWHERE ELSE. That's his job. The "terrible stretch of road" thing is what led the prosecutor in my niece's case to decide that no criminal charges would be filed. We heard the same thing: there's a curve in the road, the lighting was bad, it's a notoriously bad stretch of 422.

We can only pray that once a jury gets a hold of it, that they are intelligent enough to see that BECAUSE of those factors, extra care should have been taken by motorists to prevent such a tragedy. And even more importantly, the facts will show that she was legally impaired and already charged with one DUI before it happened.

And Gina, I share your rage!

Thanks so much for your kind words.

I find myself increasingly frustrated with people who say "Leave it alone. Let the police do their job...Let the DA do her job....Your protests serve no purpose..."

Before my niece was killed I was one of the naive who believed that justice would be done. Instead, we waited 6 weeks for a preliminary police report and then were told that no criminal charges would be filed. They blamed poor lighting, time of day (dusk), a bend in the road (which is negligible). In my opinion they botched the investigation. They took blood from the guy who killed her but not for 3-4 hours after the fact. And they listed the results on the police report as UNKNOWN. When we finally recieved a copy of the report, it stated that the driver admitted to having ONE BEER. There are so many inconsistencies in the report. So many things pieces of the investigation that were mishandled. And a man is free while my niece and her baby are dead.

I guess that explains my eye rolls whenever I read one of those stupid statements. The system DOESN'T work. Not unless it's helped along.

And then there are slime ball attorneys like McMonagle who make their living keeping the Goihman's and the like on the streets.

He'll use the poor lighting issue and anything else he can to deflect the attention from the fact that she killed a girl and left her to die.

Ya know, I thought that once she was arrested and the details of that night became known that I would feel better. Instead I'm more angry and more frustrated than when I was 2 months ago. Maybe because I'm not sure that anything we do from this point forward will do anything to put a nail in her coffin. Now we have no alternative but let the authorities do their job.

How's that for a scary thought.

Hey Randi "Justice For Kayla" is far from over. Post your thoughts here, send them in as editorials to newspapers, get in touch with radio stations.

Hey Donna,

I was afraid my comments might be misinterpretted as meaning this is the end. You know that I'm behind this as until it's over.

My point was that now that charges have been filed and the likely outcome is that there will be a jury trial (and I'm sure none of us are on the prospective juror guest list), I sure hope that they have their ducks in a row and that the evidence is compelling enough to convince 12 jurors of what we already know, that she's guilty as sin.

Please never think for one minute that I'm not behind this. I post on whatever blogs I can find that address this case and will continue to speak out for Kayla.

Donna,

Read the following excerpt from a recent article from NBC news:

"Goihman's friend, who is a waitress at Kildare's restaurant, said she saw Goihman drink three vodka cocktails on June 19 -- one at Kildare's and two more at Thomas' Restaurant and Bar. However, the owner of Kildare's said that video cameras picked up no sign of Goihman that night

The witness told detectives that she and Goihman spoke to an attorney the following day. The attorney told them that if they were questioned, the witness must stay quiet."

What a COINCIDENCE that my neighbor, who I told you Goihman has been seen visiting, works at Kildare's and I was told that approximately 2-3 days after the hit and run, one of the girls living in that house was away and the house became uncharacteristically quiet.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
