I hope the Grand Jury gets to the bottom of this, and I wish you luck in your efforts to obtain justice.

I can't believe that she isn't even around to deal with things like an adult! She had to run to her mommy and daddy's house out of the state and away from anything that may "upset" her. If her leaving here with things they way they are isn't a sure sign that she is a potential flight risk, I don't know what is!

If Ms. Goihman was given probation on July 23 concerning the January DUI...how can she jet off to Miami?

I guess I just do not understand how our system works in that you can be the owner of a car invovled in the hit and run murder of a girl, not have to talk to police, sell your restaurant, leave the state, etc.

Wanna talk about a flight risk...

I guess if she was from Jamaica, Haiti, Cuba, etc. etc. etc., we would have to worry about the flight risk, because we know where she would be JAIL

In her interview with the Philadelphia Inquirer, Ms. Goihman said, "I'm not in a good place...I'm under a lot of stress due to the circumstances and had to get away."

I can't even find words for the anger and outrage I feel in response to that statement.

I begin to suspect that Ms. Goihman isn't even capable of understanding the pain she has caused. I wish I could believe that she is so horrified by her behavior that she can't even face herself, but now I wonder if she's even human. How could anyone be so selfish, so cold, so unashamed, and so unafraid of the law?

I pray that the authorities will require this woman to surrender her passport.

We need to let the potential new owner of the restaurant know that we will protest in front of his restaurant as long as the killer is roaming free without consequences for her actions. It is obvious that she is responsible for Kayla's death, or she would not have let her restaurant go down the tubes. And I don't believe for a moment that the sale has been pending for months. This woman is an escape artist, and needs to be punished.

I don't understand how she can just leave! Is the pressure of the vigil and media too much for her? Stated in a previos blog from another blogger, this option was offered as another way of protesting and keeping this case alive, so maybe now that she will be far away it is an option to be considered...it was posted by notorious "anonymous", and I bet they didn't expect it to be considered ;)

"A better approach to this might be to have pre-stamped postcards to Goihmann's home that actual customers can sign, saying something like: I am a paying Azafran customer who wants you to cooperate with this investigation. Getting 10 or 20 of those in your mailbox everyday (regardless of who owns the restaurant) might be pretty powerful."

But maybe they can be altered instead of saying we are customers and send them as individuals who don't want her to forget what she left here...just a thought :)

Or just keep mailing her a postcard of a picture of Kayla...

Could someone tell me why Goiman was able to leave the state? I thought when a person was being questioned by the grand jury for murder they could not leave the state.Maybe thats only on t.v. I wish I could go to Miami and stand outside her home there. Does anyone have the address????

An arrest warrant is being prepared for the terrible Ms. G as we speak. All the perseverance paid off!
